Note :

The Permanence of the Bar Association has existed since 1975. Nearly 160 lawyers succeed each other annually to allow the requested consultations, i.e. nearly 3000 per year. 

Lawyers provide initial advice on all legal matters, inform about certain specialisations (names of colleagues) and also provide information on how to grant legal aid. 

Consultations are strictly oral. No deed is established at the Permanence and no consultation is granted by telephone. Other languages than French and English may be offered depending on the duty lawyer.
